Dad Camp is a "docureality show that will try to transform these boys into fathers. This is in response to U.S. problem in parenting. Most soon-to-be-dads are not prepared (obviously) for this new role in life. Some of them are not ready to accept the duties of fatherhood. VH1 will try to make them turn their lives around through Dad Camp.
They are guided by Dr. Jeff Gardere, Ph. D., a licensed clinical psychologist through a series of transformational group therapies to get them ready. If they think they are not prepared, they can leave anytime they want. But in the end, it's these pregnant women who will decided if these expecting fathers are deemed fit to be called "daddy".
